Dozens of Magic Valley residents march for science in Twin Falls

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Saturday was Earth Day and some Magic Valley residents celebrated it by marching for science.

They were stationed outside the courthouse downtown. They marched from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. They say at their peak their numbers were about 60.

They held up signs supporting everything from bees to forests. Marchers say they simply wanted to support science.

"The main point is to bring attention to science and fact based science, it's not a hoax, climate change is not a hoax," said Linda Sturman, with the group Twin Falls Drinking Liberally, the group that organized the march.
