A 40-year-old man died Tuesday morning in a farm equipment accident in southern Twin Falls.
Twin Falls Police investigate the accident and aren’t releasing the man’s name at this time and said he died of his injuries.
The accident occurred just after 11 a.m. on the property of a business and home just south of Family Dollar on the 900 block of Washington Street South.
"My understanding is he was working on some farm equipment (baler) and there was a jack failure that caused the equipment to fall on him," said Lt. Terry Thueson with the Twin Falls Police Department.
Police said more information would be available later.
KMVT's Cristle Jose was on scene and said The Twin Falls County Coroner arrived shortly after noon. Magic Valley Paramedics and Twin Falls Fire Department also responded.
