Fish found dead at revitalized Burley fishing pond

Officials are looking for information after a newly renovated trout pond finds most of their fish dead.

The trout pond in Burley suffered a major blow this past weekend, when all of the fish suddenly died.

Multiple agencies, including the city of Burley and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, responded Monday morning to the Freedom Park Pond.

The investigation is on-going, and water samples have been taken.

Fish and Game is asking for anybody who has been at the pond during the past week to call them if they might have seen something.
