Flu cancels classes for Camas County School District

(KMVT/KSVT) — The Camas County School District is cancelling classes for the rest of the week because of a severe flu outbreak.

This year’s influenza is taking a hard hit to Camas County, where 29 percent of the school district’s students and 44 percent of certified staff are out sick with the flu, and those numbers keep rising.

According to school district staff, classes on Wednesday and Thursday are cancelled, and Friday is a planned ski day.

It is up to parent's digression if they let their child ski Friday, but on district planned ski days classes are also cancelled.
