Habitat for Humanity fundraiser raises thousands of dollars

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The Rim2Rim race is in the books, bringing in nearly $30,000 for Habitat for Humanity.

Executive director Linda Fleming reports that this includes a $10,000 donation on the day of the race, Saturday.

Funds benefit the upcoming build for the Hernandez family of six, in Jerome. Habitat is currently fundraising to build a road to the home.

As for the race, Brandon Teeter won the Rim2Rim with a time of 45 minutes and four seconds.
