Hay trailer catches fire, westbound I-84 lanes closed

Authorities are responding to a reported hay truck that caught on fire Tuesday afternoon east of the Kimberly/Hansen exit 182 on Interstate 84.
Westbound interstate traffic is being redirected at Valley Road, exit 188, until further notice.
Emergency crews received the call at about 1:38 p.m. The truck was in part of the right-hand lane moving westbound on Interstate 84, just east of the Kimberly/Hansen Interstate exit. Crews are on scene. One lane is open for traffic, according to SIRCOMM.
At 1:44 p.m., the Twin Falls County said the semi-trucks power unit had caught on fire and the fire had sparked a brush fire.
Traffic is expected to be slowed and traffic delays are expected.
As of 2:30 pm. the brush fire had been extinguished, according to our reporter at the scene.
