UPDATE: Twin Falls man dies in I-84 crash near Wendell

WENDELL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — UPDATEL 6:56 p.m.

Eastbound lanes on I-84 near Wendell were blocked for one hour Monday morning, as authorities responded to a vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a Twin Falls man, according to a press release from Idaho State Police.

39-year-old Sheldon Stultz of Twin Falls was driving a 1981 Ford F150 eastbound on I-84 when he drove off the road and his vehicle rolled into the media. Stultz, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries on the scene. Next of kin has been notified of his passing.

Eastbound traffic on Interstate 84 near Wendell is blocked Monday morning due to a crash.

KMVT reporter Garrett Hottle saw that a car had rolled into the median and eastbound traffic was backed up.

Idaho State Police is investigating the crash milepost near 156. According to a news release, both eastbound lanes are blocked as of 11:26 a.m.

ISP, Gooding County Sheriff’s Office and paramedics could were on-scene. Authorities have not released if anyone was injured.
