Idaho Power stocks river with more trout

(KMVT/KSVT) - Idaho Power released 70,000 rainbow trout in some of Idaho's popular fishing spots in the Snake River.

That included 19,000 fish being released into Centennial Park near Twin Falls and the Lower Salmon Falls Reservoir by Bell Rapids.

More than 50,000 fish were also released into C.J. Strike Reservoir south of Mountain Home.

If anglers catch a trout with a tag on it, they can enter their name into a drawing for $1,000.
