Investigators look at Idaho connection to missing Colorado mom case

(CNN) — Police are looking at a woman in Idaho, who they say is suspected of disposing of a missing Colorado woman’s phone.

According to a source close to the investigation, police have said there was a cell phone ping in Gooding, Idaho, from Kelsey Berreth's phone three days after she was last seen.

The connection between that woman and Berreth's fiance Patrick Frazee, who is charged with Berreth’s murder, is still unclear.

Frazee previously told police he last saw Berreth on Nov. 22, when he picked up their daughter. Prosecutors haven't released a motive.

Frazee is being held without bond and was in court for a custody hearing Thursday.

Berreth and Frazee share a 1-year-old daughter together, she's currently in the custody of Berreth's parents.
