TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Kids in Twin Falls are learning the basics of martial arts as wells the principles of honor, discipline, and respect.

On Friday at Robert Stuart Middle School, students participated in a program put on by Low's Martial Arts Academy. The program has been running for a year now and is for students in middle school to learn martial arts and how to handle bullies in their life.

The program includes a diverse range of students and is open to boys and girls.

"Low's Martial Arts Academy did an outreach program at Robert Stuart last year and we had a good showing," Master Brandon Low said. "This year, we had 50 percent more girls join the program, and it's really exciting to see girls coming in and wanting to engage and learn martial arts and self defense."

Parents interested in having their children participate can contact Brandon Low via Facebook or visit LowsMartialArts.com .
