TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) 'Tis the season of giving, and for one Magic Valley man, Artist Paul Davis, he's giving all he has, all of his art work, anyway.

"It was an easy decision, especially after I talked to Linda. It was an easy decision and it just makes me feel good to do this,” Davis said .

Habitat for Humanity's Executive Director Linda Fleming explained that the Hagerman resident is giving back to the organizations by auctioning off his life's work.

"He said that in his heart of hearts, wanted to give his life collection to Habitat for Humanity. So what could we say but yes? So we are blessed with an entire lifetime of his artwork,” Fleming explained.

And his artwork fits in with organizations mission.

"Goes together with what habitat does here in the Magic Calley. We're all about recycling, we got the restore, and Paul's art is all about recycling and love and giving back to the community,” Fleming stated.

Davis said he loves supporting charities.

"Over the years donating to a few charities, like Well Aware, they dig wells in Africa. I donated to the Hilo Veterans outpatient clinic and honor my brother and father's military service. I don't have cash to give back, and my heart is in my art, so that's why I like to give back,” Davis explained.

Which is why he decided to give to the organization.

"This is one of the most wonderful charities and opportunities for me to give back,” Davis said.

The auction starts Friday December 7th, and goes until Saturday, Dec. 15, pieces can be seen in person at the Herrett Center on the CSI campus, and bids can be placed online at www.habitatmagicvalley.afrogs.org
