TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — March Madness is upon us, and local sports bars are reaping the

Even if you have never seen a single game played by a team, picking them in your bracket can make you an instant fan for the 40 minutes they're on the court.

But for those of you who are still not convinced to spend your time watching ball, you can make watching the tournament a social event. Places like sports bars offer a chance to get out and get to know a little more about sports, and to see how your friends handle a high stress game in public.

In addition to the basketball, some bars run specials and have extra incentives for you to to come in and enjoy the atmosphere.

"People will come in and they have a game in mind that they want to watch, so say they want to see Virginia play or something, they'll come in and watch that game and then they'll stick around if another game is good," said Jake Pierce, one of the owners of the Anchor Bistro in Twin Falls. "And it's March Madness so there's always some crazy finish to every game."

If you're more about the beer and food than the sports, the Anchor in Twin Falls has a beer bracket and are serving up specials all tournament-long.

While it's too late to fill out an entire bracket, you still have a chance to join in on the fun and one way to do that is to cheer for whoever will wreck your friends' brackets.
