McGeachin, Risch attend brunch in Blaine County for annual event

HAILEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Blaine County Republicans had an eventful morning Saturday, hosting both Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin and Senator Jim Risch for brunch at the community center building in Hailey.

It was part of an event put on by the Blaine County Republicans, as part of the state's Lincoln Days event, which honors the father of the modern Republican Party, Abraham Lincoln.

The newly elected McGeachin told KMVT that it's a good opportunity, not just for her, but for all the elected officials to go around and meet the people they represent.

“It's the grassroots Republicans who work hard to help support all the candidates on the ticket. So this is just a great opportunity to see them and thank them personally for all of their hard work,” McGeachin explained.

The event also had a silent auction to help raise funds for candidates.
