TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Olive Garden is one of several eateries preparing to open its doors.
The Italian chain restaurant is opening Jan. 21 at its location on the north side of the Magic Valley Mall. This is just one of several new business opening to Twin Falls this year.
"Everybody's excited. We're really excited for being here in Twin Falls, and I think it's going to be an amazing thing for Olive Garden. We love the community, we have a couple outreach programs for donations and what not that we're actually doing. So we're very excited,” said general manager Jack Winn.
Jersey Mike's Subs will be opening a location across from Walmart on Cheney Drive West, along with an ice cream shop called Canyon Rim Creamery and a Chinese food restaurant called Hong Kong Restaurant.
Then next to the former-Chipotle location, a pizza place called Mod plans to open, according to city building permits.
Meanwhile, Olive Garden is gearing up for its grand opening.
"We have a ribbon cutting, and we actually have made a bread stick, and were going to actually cut a bread stick. That’ll be our opening, that day of it,” Winn said.
