The Bureau of Land management Shoshone Field Office is seeking public review of the King to Wood River 138kV Transmission Line Rebuild. The public comment period will end January 19, 2016. The purpose of the review period is to provide all interested parties and the public an opportunity to review the EA and provide feedback before the Decision Record is signed.

Essentially, the EA was prepared to analyze the potential environmental impacts of the proposal from Idaho Power Company to renew and amend their existing right-of-way grant. The proposed action includes rebuilding the existing 138kV transmission line, widening the existing ROW width, and authorizing existing roads and construction of new service roads in addition to a few other components.
