Public interviews slated for Twin Falls County Magistrate judge post

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The 5th Judicial District Magistrate Commission invites the public to attend interviews with finalist to fill a Magistrate judge seat in Twin Falls County.

Four candidates will be interviewed Friday, Jan. 18 to fill the seat vacated by Judge Roger Harris. Harris recently took a District Court Bench. The four candidates include Samuel S. Bues of Twin Falls, Benjamin D. Harmer of Caldwell, Daniel J. Luker of Boise and Dennis S. Voorhees of Twin Falls.

The interviews will take place at in the Theron W. Ward Judicial Building, district courtroom, located at 427 Shoshone St. N. The commission will deliberate in a private session immediately following the interviews.

Luker is scheduled to be interviewed at 10 a.m., Voorhees at 10:35 a.m., Beus at 11:10 a.m. and Harmer at 11:45 a.m.
