Semi-truck on fire delays eastbound interstate traffic west of Burley

A semi-truck on fire blocked eastbound Interstate 84 traffic west of Burley for a time Friday morning.
Idaho State Police responded with Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office and West End Fire Department to about four miles west of Burley. Interstate traffic was stopped for a time and the left lane opened about 8 a.m. The incident caused significant delays and backups according to ISP.
The condition of the driver was not released Friday morning.
ISP said more information will be released when it is available.
