Shoshone man receives 130 years for child sexual exploitation conviction
A federal judge has handed down the maximum 130-year sentence to a Shoshone man convicted of sexually exploiting an 8-year old girl.
Fifty-four-year old William Roger Wilkinson was convicted on three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts related to possession of child pornography.
Wilkinson was sentenced to the maximum on each charge, and ordered to pay over 155-thousand dollars in fines.
Wilkinson was convicted of the charges after images were found on his computers showing him engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a then eight-year-old girl.
The victim's mother thanked those who helped with the prosecution in a public Facebook post, saying Wilkinson "…will never see the light of day again."
