GOODING, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - A hospital in Gooding weathered the winds Saturday morning for their Stache Dash.
The North Canyon Medical Center also hosted a flag football turkey bowl just in time for Thanksgiving week.
Proceeds benefit the medical center's men's health program.
Although the weather may have deterred some people from showing up, this is all about educating the community.
"A lot of it is just encouraging men in our community to get out and get pre–screened, start to look at what kind of health do they currently have and what needs to be done to improve it." said Shellie Amundson, Director of Community Relations.
They recently offered blood work specials to encourage the men in the community to take part in.
