The 2024 high school volleyball season has come to a close, but Saturday was the final day for some of our area teams to end things on a positive note.

The Twin Falls Bruins are the 2024 5A state volleyball champions after a 2-0 win over Lakeland in the title match.

The College of Southern Idaho men’s and women’s basketball teams each picked up their second wins of the season, both in upset fashion over top-five teams.

The crash occurred at 3:27 p.m. near the intersection of Idaho Route 24 and 3150 East, according to the Southern Idaho Regional Communications Center.

Maddux Madsen had his best game of the year for BSU, going 24/32 for 307 yards and four touchdowns.

CSI shot an outstanding 51 percent from the field and 48 percent from beyond the arc in the win.
