The popularity of Cauldron Linn, a Murtaugh neighborhood is getting lots of attention on accident.

According to some of the fall's neighbors, visitors trying to get to the river are being directed the wrong way by their phones.

Along with posting no river access, one family put up a sign offering help to anyone who can't find their way.

Locals we talked to say it could be confusing so they offered some directions of their own.

"Once you get to Murtaugh, just go east out of Murtaugh and take the left at the T. And once you get up on top of the hill it will give you a sign that says Cauldron Linn," said Michael Lammers of Filer.

The woman whose family put up the directions told KMVT she gives directions to a lot of out-of-state visitors.

She hopes the sign helps them find their way to enjoy the falls.

See map below of correct direction from Interstate 84 to Cauldron Linn entrance. The second map shows where Cauldron Linn is located along the Snake River.
