The new Tesla charging stations at the Twin Falls Visitor's Center are up and running , the final piece of a major project for the automaker.
The new super charging stations will charge a Tesla car in thirty minutes.
This enables the electric car owners to drive from Seattle to Denver through the Tesla I–84 network.
These chargers are expected to bring in more visitors daily as drivers stop to recharge.
"It's great to have it here at the visitors center, because as they are charging up for their half hour, they're able to come in, do some shopping, learn about the community and perhaps spend some more time here,” said president of the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce Shawn Bariger.
This whole project including the infrastructure and power bills was funded by Tesla Motors.
