Three sent to the hospital after early Jerome crash

JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) A little before 7:00 a.m., Wednesday morning Idaho State Police responded to an injury crash east of Jerome.

The crash happened at the intersection of US 93 and State Highway 25.

A Dodge pickup driven by a juvenile was traveling southbound on US 93, turned left onto State Highway 25 and failed to yield to oncoming traffic. As a result he collided with 66 year old Quirino Escobedo.

Escobedo was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional in Twin Falls. The juvenile driver and a juvenile passenger were transported by personal vehicle to St. Luke’s in Jerome.

None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
