Trailer sparks cause small fires south of Twin Falls

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A vehicle towing a trailer threw sparks and started several small fires south of Twin Falls Tuesday afternoon.

The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office issued a news release saying the crews were headed to near Foothill Road and 3100 East. A call for the fire came in about 3:30 p.m. and the fire was under control at about 5 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

Salmon Tract Fire and Rock Creek Fire are currently on scene. Bureau of Land Management crews were notified.
