TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The Civil Air Patrol gave a presentation to the Twin Falls County Office of Emergency Management on Tuesday about the variety of services offered during a disaster. Each month, guests from industry, health services and others are invited to present to the committee.
The meetings provide the community vital information, and the coordinator of the Twin Falls County of Emergency Management says the meetings are open for the public to attend.
"The entities that come share about what they do and how they work with our citizens and with the agencies, and what their resources are and what they offer and actually how to main a continuity of operations during an event," coordinator for the Office of Emergency Management Jackie Frey says.
She said that one of the most important aspects of the emergency planning committee meetings is they provide a forum for certain agencies to meet each other and share information.
The meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month for the Twin Falls County Office of Emergency Management at the Twin Falls County West building.
