Twin Falls holds public meetings on 'smoke free' proposal

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The City of Twin Falls is considering going smoke-free.

The city will host two public meetings on the topic, one this Wednesday the 16th at city hall from 4 to 7 p-m, and then Thursday the 7th of February at the library at the same time.

Suzanne Hawkins, a city councilwoman, encourages everybody to go, even if you don't live in the city, so they can hear community feedback.

“This is something that would affect people traveling into our community, who use our restaurants, and our parks, and so if you're someone who comes to Twin Falls and you utilize our services, I think it's definitely appropriate for you to have your voice heard on this as well,” Hawkins explained.
