Twin Falls woman arraigned on murder charge, $2 million bond

Amanda Dunlap was arraigned in court on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Her bond is set at $2 million with ten charges against her.

The preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 3.

Twenty-two-year-old Amanda Dunlap, of Twin Falls, was arrested Friday on a warrant for murder and felony injury to a child.

She was booked into Ada County Jail Saturday morning facing one count of felony murder, eight counts of felony injury to a child, one count of misdemeanor injury to a child.

According to a press release, the Twin Falls Police Department responded on Oct. 8 to St Luke's Magic Valley for a report of an infant in distress. The child was life-flighted to Boise but passed away a few days later on the Oct. 14.

Twin Falls police opened a joint investigation with Boise police after the initial call, which lead to the arrest.
