An Arizona man died after a crash on Interstate 84 near Wendell on Saturday.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. around milepost 147, about 10 miles west of Wendell.

Idaho State Police say Clinton Harlan, 39, of Kuna, was driving a semi-truck with three trailers west on I-84. They say there was a vehicle stopped in the right hand lane and the semi ran into the back of it.

ISP says the driver of the stopped Chevy Impala, Derrickson George, 35, of Tucson, Arizona, died of his injuries at the scene.

The right hand lane of the freeway was closed for about three hours. ISP is still investigating the incident. The Idaho Transportation Department, Gooding County Sheriff's Office and Fire Department and EMS crews assisted on the incident.

This story has been corrected to say only the driver of the car died. He was the sole occupant of the car.
