A vehicle on fire halted eastbound traffic Tuesday morning on Interstate 84 near Tuttle. A motor home was pulling a vehicle at about 9:45 a.m. through a construction zone when it reportedly caught on fire.
The incident shut the freeway down through the area. The lane was reopened at about 10:30 a.m., according to SIRCOMM.
As crews cleaned up the scene, traffic was backed up for several miles. That section of freeway was already reduced to one lane due to road construction.
