Weather blog: Active weather pattern this week
We had quite the weekend with rain, especially on Saturday, with cooler temperatures. We were in the 40s all afternoon on Saturday, definitely making it feel like spring, and we made it into the upper 50s to close to 60° on Sunday.
As we start the new work week, it is looking beautiful with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures reaching the low 70s. One thing to note is that Monday will be the driest day of the week, so any outdoor activities or chores you need to get done should get done on Monday. Tuesday will see some additional cloud cover with a chance for scattered showers and storms, but we stay in the low 70s.
Our chances for storms increase once again as we head into Wednesday with once again, temperatures in the 70s. While there are chances for rain and t-storms all week, the best chances for storms will be Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The good news is that each day won’t be wash outs and not everyone will see the rain. The other piece of good news is that our temperatures will also stay in the 70s all week and that will take us into the weekend.
