Kimberly — William Robert Miller (Bill), 65, of Kimberly, Idaho, died Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at his home in Kimberly.
Bill was born on August 4th 1953, in Flint Michigan. He was the son of William and Deana Miller. He grew up in Johnstown, Penn. After the 6th grade, he moved to the Bronx, NY. Bill joined the Marines in 1970 and was honorably discharged in 1972, due to medical reasons. Bill then moved to Idaho and that is where he met his wife, Irene Chavez. He married Irene on August 20th 1980 in Twin Falls, ID. He was a roofer and a carpenter his whole life. Bill was well known in the community.
Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Irene Miller of Kimberly; his two children, Alexis Applewhite (Dedrick) of Lacey, WA, and Jason Miller of Kimberly, ID, and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Fredrick Chavez, and nephew, Matthew Friel.
A celebration of life will be held for Bill at 1:00p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2nd 2019, at the Hansen Community Center, Main St. Hansen, ID, with family and friends. The family suggests memorials and contributions in Bill’s name to Serenity Funeral Chapel, 502, 2nd Ave. North, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
