TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) BOYS SOCCER:

Canyon Ridge 2, Wood River 1: The No. 5 seeded Riverhawks shocked the No. 1 Wolverines on the road, handing them their first loss of the season. Canyon Ridge is now state bound, while Wood River hosts Jerome on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in a loser-out game.

Century 2, Twin Falls 1: The Bruins nearly pulled off an upset of the No. 2 seeded Diamondbacks. Century now plays the Riverhawks at home on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Jerome 6, Burley 0: The Bobcats have been eliminated from contention.

GIRLS SOCCER:

Twin Falls 2, Wood River 0: The No. 1 seeded Bruins have secured a spot at the 4A girls soccer state tournament. Kaylin Bailey scored in the first half, while Jaycee Bell found the net in the second half, she was assisted by Madelyn McQueen. Goalkeeper Sidnee Naerebout earned the shutout.

Century 2, Preston 2 (3-1 PK's): The Diamondbacks, the No. 2 seed will face Twin Falls in the district championship, following a hard fought win over the Indians. Both teams are state bound. That game will be played on Saturday at Sunway Soccer Complex.

Jerome 6, Mountain Home 4: The Tigers of Jerome eliminated Mountain Home. Jerome will face the Wolverines in a loser-out game on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Pocatello 1, Canyon Ridge 0: The Riverhawks have been eliminated from postseason contention.
