Five Magic Valley athletes featured on USA Today All-Idaho team

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The holidays might be on the tail end, but five Magic Valley athletes are still receiving gifts. The USA Today released its All-Idaho football team and three of them hail from the same squad.

let's start with the offense, on the first team it's Cayden Loveland of Gooding. The senior wide receiver led the 3A with 70 catches, to go along with 21 touchdowns.

On the second team, we have McKade Huft of Kimberly. The junior running back produced 2,210 total yards and 30 touchdowns.

The Defensive Player of the Year is none other than Keegan Duncan of Declo. The Boise State signee and Gatorade Player of the Year had four interceptions, two returned for touchdowns to go along with 65 tackles.

Joining Duncan on the first team, we have defensive lineman Jake McGinnis of Gooding. The Senator signed with Idaho State last week.

And finally last but not least, McGinnis' teammate, Shane Jennings. The free safety recorded nearly 30 tackles and five interceptions. Like Huft, Jennings will be back next year.
