Twin Falls Cowboy Classic underway

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The Twin Falls "AA" Cowboys are hosting five teams, representing four different states in this week's Cowboy Classic.


Twin Falls AA Cowboys 12, North Cache 11: Skylar Holcomb produced three hits and four RBI's, while Kaden Stutzman added three hits and the Cowboys held off the Utah team.

They are now 3-0 in the tournament.


Twin Falls went 2-0 on the first day against out of state teams.

Twin Falls AA Cowboys 7, Durango Post 76 3: Twin Falls pounded nine hits and Lucas Young came up big pitching, going 6 2/3 innings, striking out four.

Twin Falls AA Cowboys 6, Taylorsville, UT 1: Skylar Holcomb went 4 2/3 innings with four strikeouts on the night. Both Connor Root and Cade Greenfield each had two RBI's.

* Coin toss will determine home or visitor during round robin play. Last day higher seed home unless

Playing Twin Falls they will be the home team and occupy the 1st base dugout for all games.

*All games will be 7 innings in length or played with extra innings until a winner is

determined. No time limit will be enforced. A 10 run rule is in effect after 5 innings *

Tie-breakers will be used in this sequence:

1) Overall record

2) Head to Head *If 3 or more teams are tied and head to head cannot be utilized move to the next tie breaker.*

Example: Team A beats Team B

Team B beats Team C

Team C beats Team A

*then the head to head tiebreaker will not be utilized*

3) Least runs allowed

4) Most runs scored

5) Coin Flip
