BURLEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) A Burley hoopster already has a Division I offer under his belt and he's not even a junior.
Idaho State University head coach Bill Evans has offered Jace Whiting, according to Jace's Twitter page. This marks his first D-I offer.
Right now Whiting is playing in the Adidas Circuit averaging just under 20 points per game.
The point guard helped lead the Bobcats to the 2018 4A state runner–up finish.
He spent his freshman year in Utah playing for Syracuse High School, before his father Trent accepted the head coaching position at Burley. Trent played basketball at Snow college, Utah and BYU. He also played 12 years professionally in Italy.
