CSI Basketball standouts Jones & Kingsby hope to commit sooner than later

Classes start at CSI in a few weeks, but school work isn't the only thing on the minds of basketball standouts Charles Jones Junior and Danya Kingsby.

With more than a dozen Division I offers between them, Jones and Kingsby are looking at the next steps in their collegiate basketball careers.

Jones' offers so far include Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Utah, Utah State and Florida Gulf Coast to name a few.

Kingsby has received notable offers from Tulsa, Pittsburgh, UC Santa Barbara, Buffalo and FGC.

And that's just touching the tip of the iceberg between them.

The pair told me earlier on Friday that it's less the names of the schools that's attracting them, but where they'll have the biggest impact.

Kingsby said, "somewhere that's going to fit me, ya know, because I only have two years of college basketball left. So I want to go somewhere where Coach can trust me, and is the best fit for me."

Jones: "Well I definitely want to go to a bigger school. Not because of the name, it's because I believe that I can play anywhere. And coming in I'm just looking forward to the coach trusting me because I only have two years, I don't have time to waste."
