CSI Men's Basketball players take advantage of the early signing period

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Wednesday kicked off one the biggest occasions in student-athletes' lives, signing day.

The early period for most sports is underway and the College of Southern Idaho took full advantage.

Six athletes signed with D-I schools Thursday.

The largest of the group, men's basketball.

We'll start with them first.

The ACC, PAC-12, Mountain West and Big Sky, all represented at the table. For Charles Jones Jr. known simply as Chuck.

He committed to Utah over the summer. The All-American didn't want any distractions while he wrapped up his junior college career.

Danye kingsby is one of the most highly touted junior college guards in the nation. And like Chuck, he committed to Pitt before the season started as well.

Playing in the ACC has always been his dream.

Roche Grootfaam will bring size and intensity to Utah State, he committed to the Aggies last month.

And finally newcomer, freshman Tomas Domingos out of Elite Prep.

Originally from Portugal, the seven footer will take his talents to the University of Idaho.

How they play the 10th ranked Golden Eagles host Western Nebraska Friday, followed by Casper College on Saturday.
