CSI Softball players earn weekly SWAC awards

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) CSI Softball produced the SWAC Pitcher and Player of the Week.

Kamryn Grover pitched 15 innings, went 1-1 and had a 2.33 ERA.

The sophomore gave up 16 hits and just five earned runs with nine strikeouts. She held opponents to a .254 batting average. For the season, Grover ranks 18th in the country in wins and 29th in strikeouts.

Kylie Baumert posted a 500 batting average with two doubles. The freshman from Twin Falls leads the nation in home runs with four and is fourth with 11 RBI's.

CSI has a little break before a preseason scrimmage at the College of Idaho on February 16. The doubleheader begins at 12 p.m.
