CSI boxing smoker dedicated to Cole Hatcher
The CSI rodeo team wants to forget the latter half of 2017.
First, Braxten Nielsen broke his back in late August while competing at the Twin Falls County PRCA Rodeo. He's had extensive medical bills as he continues his journey towards recovery.
Then in November, former CSI cowboy Cole Hatcher lost his life in a car accident.
Now the 41st Annual CSI Cowboy and Cowgirl Boxing Smoker is coming up at the end of this month.
And the college is dedicating the event to the memory of Hatcher.
All proceeds will benefit the rodeo team.
CSI Eldon Evans Expo Center plays host to this event on Saturday, January 27th.
Doors open at six, the first fight starts at eight.
Advanced tickets are available: $10 general admission, $15 reserved bleacher, $15 mezzanine, $18 reserved floor and $30 ringside. If you wait until the door, prices increase by $2. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the first fight slated to start at 8 p.m.
