TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The College of Southern Idaho’s Golden Eagles are getting amped up for basketball season.

Both teams held their annual basketball bash Wednesday evening, showcasing the talent on both the women's and men's teams.

Coaches’ Phay and Rogers told KMVT that they are excited to have both new and returning players aboard, and have high hopes for the upcoming season.

"Our expectation always at CSI is to challenge for a national tournament, and get back to the national tournament in Lubbock Texas,” explained women's basketball Coach Randy Rogers.

Men's basketball coach Jared Phay said he hopes to get back to the Juco national Championships again this season.

"As a coach we know a lot of the things we have to work on, so you know we have a long ways to go, but I do think we have a chance to be really, really good,” Phay stated.
