CSI splits doubleheader with Snow College

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The CSI Softball team is coming off an outburst of runs against Snow, 40 to be exact. Should they have saved some of those runs for Saturday? Let's see.

Snow up 2-0 in the second, but the defense makes a nice play at the plate, to prevent the third run from scoring. Alexis Poulsen for Snow, was wheeling and dealing today, gets back to back strikeouts of Anjalee Batchelor and Sherry Boone.

With two outs, the Golden Eagles came alive. Nikki Zielinksi splits the left side and brings in Hadyn Flygare all the way from second base to score. Now it's a 2-1 game.

But in the following inning, Autumn Dzierzon smokes this ball to left for a two-run home run. The Badgers pounded out the runs, in the 13-3 victory.

CSI did come back in the later game, winning 14-5, taking three games in the series. The Golden Eagles host Colorado Northwestern Friday and Saturday.
