CSI takes three from Prairie Baseball Academy

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) CSI Baseball picks up two wins against Prairie Baseball Academy on Saturday, taking three of the four games in the series. This concluded a successful homestand for that week.

CSI won game one, 12-2 due to the efforts of Hayden Leatham who was 3-for-4 with a double and and two RBI. Nolan Walker was 2-for-2 with a walk, hit by pitch and one RBI.

On the mound, Colton Carpenter earned the win, going five innings and giving up no earned runs on six hits with three strikeouts.

In game two, CSI was trailing 2-1 and posted three runs, never looking back. They won 4-2.

David Hudleson was 2-for-3.

Connor Breding earned the win on the mound. He went six innings, giving up two earned runs on five hits and six strikeouts.

Walker ended up earning SWAC Baseball Player of the Week for his accomplishments for helping the Golden Eagles win five out of six games against ISU Baseball Club and Prairie.

Walker was 11-for-19 at the plate with three doubles, one home run and seven RBI. He also drew five walks for a .692 on-base percentage along with three stolen bases.
