Canyon Ridge nearly snaps its losing streak to Bonneville; 4A roundup

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Canyon Ridge nearly defeated Bonneville, but a fourth quarter score prevented that from happening.

The Riverhawks scored right before halftime, they went into the break up 14-12. The Bees grabbed the lead in the third, before the home team tied it again.

Bonneville produced the go-ahead touchdown, taking a 26-20 lead in the fourth and that was the final.

The Bees move to 2-0 in their first year being down in 4A, since leaving the 5A ranks this past offseason. Canyon Ridge moves to 0-2.

OTHER SCORES:

Minico 51, Wood River 7: Colter May ran for 135 yards on 14 carries to go along with three touchdowns as Minico routed its conference foe, Wood River. Rylan Chandler added six carries, 67 Yards, one touchdown and one receiving 70 yard touchdown. McKay Chandler ran the ball twice for 42 Yards, picking up one touchdown and on defense recorded one interception touchdown. Connor Stocking was 4-6 for 112 yards and one TD. The Spartans have now outscored their opponents 93-14, moving to 2-0 on the year. The Wolverines fall to 0-2.

Twin Falls 16, Ridgevue 3: Twin Falls jumped out to a 10-0 in the first quarter on a field goal and then a 23 yard touchdown pass from Carson Walters to Seth Dewit. Jarad Perry added another touchdown in the fourth. Perry rushed for 118 yards on 28 carries. The Bruins move to 2-0 on the season after the road victory. The Warhawks fall to 1-1.
