Canyon Ridge's comeback falls short on Homecoming

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Canyon Ridge still seeking its first win, hosting Pocatello on Homecoming night.

The Indians up 14–8 in the third quarter, Sheldon Romriell connects with Tyler Olsen who makes a tough catch and is brought down near the 25 yard line. Pocatello has to settle for a field goal to make it a nine point game.

Same quarter, Canyon Ridge tries to answer, but Jadyn Downs reads the pass and gets the interception, plus then he returns it for about 20 yards.

But the Indians give it right back to the Riverhawks, as Matthew Ney is stripped by Alishan Shamanadze, it's Riverhawk football.

Canyon Rdge utilizes the turnover as MJ Brooks heaves it up for River Osen who makes a great snag in the air, touchdown Canyon Ridge and after the PAT, it's 17–15.

The comeback falls just short though, Pocatello prevails, 24-15. The Indians improve to 2-4 overall, while the Riverhawks fall to 0-6.
