SHOSHONE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Up at Shoshone High School, both Carey and Dietrich were victorious Friday night. The Panthers had an easier time with Castleford than the Blue Devils did with Hagerman.
Now the two playing Saturday night in the first of the semi-final matches, with a berth to the 1A D-II district championship on the line.
Carey went up 20-9 at halftime and it looked like it was going to be smooth sailing after that.
But then Matigan Bingham of Dietrich led the charge. She posted 14 points. The Blue Devils forced overtime after ending regulation tied at 36.
But then the Panthers pulled away, winning 46-40. Kodi Green led Carey with 12.
Murtaugh only had a three point lead at halftime over Lighthouse Christian School, 17-14. But the Red Devils used a 19 point third quarter to take a 38-24 lead. They held off the Lions, winning 46-41.
Camas upset Hansen, 44-38, eliminating the Huskies.
Hagerman beat Castleford, 52-36. The Wolves are done.

Dietrich vs. Camas, Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Carey vs. Murtaugh, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
