Bliss, Wood River Boys Soccer to play for titles; state roundup

While Canyon Ridge is done after Century eliminated the Riverhawks, 3-1.
The Bruins face future conference opponent Century at 10 am for the consolation trophy.
For the boys, in the early game, Blackfoot said goodbye to Burley in the 3-2 defeat.
While Wood River played Ridgevue in the afternoon semi-final and beat the Warhawks, 2-1.
The Wolverines face Caldwell Saturday at 7 pm for the 4A championship.
In girls soccer action, the Community School edged out Sugar-Salem 3-2, they'll play Timberlake at 10 am for the consolation trophy.
Declo fell to timberlake Friday to go two and out.
For the boys, Bliss moves onto the championship, after dominating Snake River, 5-1.
~ Coach's notes: Four of Bliss' goals were scored in the first half ending the first half 4-0. Snake River was then awarded a PK in the second half, but Bliss answered back with their fifth goal of the night. Steven Rubio scored four of the five goals and Fernando Marez scored one. There were tow crucial assists, one by Armando Cordoba and one by Alex Cruz. Keeper Jose Perez only had to make three saves before being taken off and keeper Kaleb Gabriel made two saves.
The Bears play Weiser for the title Saturday at 1 pm at Middleton High School.

Weiser won penalties 5-3 after the game ended 0-0 after sudden death overtime.
