Former Boise State, NFL players to take part in Twin Falls football camp

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Some of the biggest names in Boise State Football history will be in town this week for a camp.

Twin Falls High School is once again partnering with Gridiron Dreams Football Skills Camp. The Bruins camp goes from Wednesday through Friday and the Gridiron Dreams runs the final day.

Some of the big names coming Friday, Super Bowl Champion Matt Paradis, Chancellor James of the 49ers, Kamalei Correa of the Baltimore Ravens, Jeremy McNichols and Ian Johnson.

You'll get skills on blocking, catching, pass rushing, but also something you won't get at most camps, a chance to interact with this caliber of athletes.

"A lot of it is interacting with football players you see on TV and you idolize. Growing up in Buhl as a young kid, those people were on a different planet than us," organizer Mitch Bourner explained. "Being able to build relationships with these guys and bring them back. Just the experience of being around guys that have done it, made it in those situations, it's great. It's infectious."

This event is much cheaper than the ones they offer elsewhere, as they're trying to build the one in Twin Falls and make it a flagship camp.
