TUSCALOOSA, Al. ( KMVT / KSVT ) After declaring on Twitter earlier this month that he was leaving the University of Alabama, former CSI standout Ar'Mond Davis is deciding to stay.
Various agencies reported that a teammate leaked the news Davis was planning to stay at the school at Monday night's team banquet.
So I messaged him on Twitter and he confirmed the news.
Davis played in 32 games this year for the Crimson Tide. The 6'6" junior ranked fourth on the team in made three-pointers with 32 and third in threes attempted at 129.
He averaged six points a contest and scored a career-high 19 against South Carolina.
At CSI, the no. 6 overall junior college player in the nation, appeared in 31 games and started in 19 of them last season, averaging 17.1 points, 6.8 rebounds per contest.
