Glenns Ferry doubles up Hagerman on the road

HAGERMAN, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The boys basketball season is young, but two teams are tied for second in the Snake River Conference and one is knocking on the door, Glenns Ferry.

The Pilots visited the Pirates Monday night.

The Pirates strike first, as Chris Belem finds Fernando Marez and the senior gets the floater to go.

Pilots up one, Carson Grigg sneaks a bounce pass into Kody Henslee, and makes he a nice move for the reverse layup.

Staying with Glenns Ferry, Henslee keeps it himself and makes some moves to the basket, lays one off the glass, the sophomore makes it a five point game.

The Pilots build a double digit lead in the first quarter following this three pointer by Oscar Villavicencio.

Hagerman kept it close in the quarter, but the Pilots pulled away, winning 61-31.

Next up for Glenns Ferry, an away game on Wednesday at Carey, while the Pirates host Raft River on Thursday.

Oakley, Raft River and Glenns Ferry are all 3-2 in conference play. Hagerman drops to 1-4.
