Harr leads Lady Bruins past Hillcrest; local scores

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Twin Falls Girls Basketball is in a tough spot, looking for its first win of the season in the fourth game.

The ladies faced all eastern Idaho teams so far and that's the case again Tuesday night. But Hillcrest has only won a game so it could be anyone's for grabs.

Knights down five until Stenquist knocks down the jumper.

Bruins tightened up the defense, Morgan Harr swipes it and it's off to the races, her layup puts the Bruins up 19-12 here in the second quarter.

Then she gets back quickly and stops Davenport in tracks. Bruins on offense, Harr attempts the three pointer, nearly goes in, but there for the offensive rebound and the putback, McKayla Rodriguez.

The sophomore post with nine points on the night, but no one could stop Harr, she had a team-high 17 points on the night, mainly from the free throw line, making 11 of 15 free throws.

And after leading 21-8 at halftime, Twin Falls holds off Hillcrest, 46-35.
The one area that the Bruins need to work on their three pointing shooting, 0-9 tonight against the Knights.
